MICHELLE GANPAT
After a successful career in corporate
finance, Michelle walked away from it
all, searching for her purpose in life. This
led her to begin her yoga teacher
training after practicing on and off for
over 10 years.
She is a retired New York State Certified EMT specializing in assisting police, fire, and EMS personnel in releasing the impact of trauma on the mind and body caused by work-related lifestyles.
Michelle is an ERYT-750 (Expert
Registered Yoga Teacher). Having
completed the bulk of her training in
Rishikesh, India (India's Yoga Capital of
the world where the Ganges springs forth
from the Himalayas), she earned the
preeminent RYT-500 designation. In 2017
she was a speaker at the United Nations
International Day of Yoga and World
Peace Event.

WHAT WE OFFER

Each class invites you to move out of your comfort zone, laugh at yourself, release the negative all while renewing the soul. After a successful career in corporate finance, Michelle walked away from it all, searching for her purpose in life. This led her to begin her yoga teacher training after practicing on and off for over 10 years.

Michelle's yoga classes are not typical western style yoga classes. Instead, they are planned and executed using all 8 limbs of yoga, incorporating the 5 senses and activating the third eye and gut. Each class begins with intention setting and aromatherapy centering you into the present moment as you begin to control the Chitta of the mind.
As a lifelong athlete, her practice envelopes an esteemed appreciation for the healing benefits of yoga (Ayurveda). She is excited to share with and learn from all of her students of all ages.
